Coaching for Board Chair and CEOs – The Essential Relationship

A good working relationship between board chair and CEO/ED is the key to both a high-performing board and a high performing organization. We coach both parties to this relationship to help them understand themselves, each other and their own stakeholders. Based on our extensive experience of what works – and what doesn’t – we help chairs and CEO/Eds create an effective structure for working together, tailored to their specific situations.

Board Development – Strategy and Search

A high-performing board identifies and recruits new board members strategically. We help boards create a recruitment strategy connected to their strategic plans and operating needs. We can assistant in the recruitment process (including position descriptions, advertising and interviewing, as appropriate). Moreover, within our own network we have highly-qualified, talented and diverse candidates enthusiastic to serve on a nonprofit board.

Board Workshops and Retreats – Applying the Power of Servant Leadership

OVERVIEW:

Our board workshops address the fundamentals of servant leadership applied to the special roles & responsibilities of boards. We help identify specific ways to improve servant leadership as individual board members and together as a board team. Our expert team will help develop a charter or action plan with the board for implementing better servant leadership.
